Hello, Riina! Thanks for cruising to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I'm so glad you are here, because I think your kids are going to have the best time in
Edge, the club just for tweens, onboard. This space is designed for guests ages 11-14, but if your 10-year-old wants to join the fun, you are welcome to sign a form designating your parental consent. Just stop by Edge together on embarkation day and speak with a Crew Member if you'd like to allow your youngest to participate in the Edge.
Just as you were suggesting, your children can also check out the youth spaces during
Open House times throughout your sailing. Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab, as well as Edge, and even the teen space, Vibe, all offer Open Houses at various times throughout your voyage. You can expect several hours of Open Houses for each of these spaces on embarkation day, and then usually one or two Open Houses (in each space) each day of the voyage, typically lasting from one to two hours. My kids have always liked popping in for an Open House together just to see what the other age groups get to do onboard.
Riina, outside of the youth spaces, there will be activities such as games, trivia, dance parties, karaoke, and more. A Disney Cruise is
fun for the whole family, with lots of options to choose from. You can swim, lounge by the pool, watch a movie, grab an ice cream cone, and soak up the sun and vacation vibes. I hope you have the most amazing time!
Please return to planDisney if you have more questions. We'll be here to help!
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
