We are considering a Disney cruise. My wife and 3 kids are gluten intolerant. Do all the sit-down restaurants have gluten-free options? What about pizza, hot dog/hamburger buns, etc.?

The Disney Cruise Line does accommodate guests with special diets. They are very familiar with serving guests with gluten-free diets.

Please have your dietary needs noted on your reservation at the time of booking. Sometimes a guest will be asked to meet with the Food and Beverage team on the first afternoon. You should also notify your Server when dining at the table service restaurants.

All of the table service restaurants can serve gluten-free options. Typically, servers will have guests on restricted diets look over the menu for the next night's meal so that special dishes can be prepared. Some gluten-free options include: rolls, pasta (including mac and cheese), cake, Rice Dream ice cream, waffles, pancakes, pizza and more.

If there is a menu item that you want gluten-free, just ask! If possible, a dish will be prepared to meet your dietary restrictions.

For dining at a buffet, please ask for the Chef's recommendations. Typically, the Chef will walk a guest through the buffet selections pointing out which items meet your special requirements. If you fear cross-contamination, speak to the Chef about having a plated meal made for you.

Looking for a stateroom celebration, order a gluten-free cake!
