We are considering a Disney cruise; however, my son is on the ketogenic diet for Epilepsy. Typically, we pack all his food when we travel. Is it allowed to bring food on the cruise or can the chefs help with his meals?

    Hello fellow Nebraskan!

Actually, you are limited to the food you can bring onto the ships, and it must all be pre-packaged.  If you click here, you can read more about bringing your own food with you.

However, since your son has specific dietary requirements because of a medical necessity, I'd fill out a medical form available on the DisneyCruise.com Planning Center (it's usually a button at the bottom of the screen when you're completing the online check in).  You can also access this form by visiting here. In addition, you can make contact with the DCL Food & Beverage Team (at least a month in advance) by emailing the request to DCL.Special.Request@disney.com.

I hope the cruise will work for your family.  We are here to help with more planning and questions you have!
