Hi. Considering a Disney cruise during 2011. Is booking the trip similar to booking a WDW vaca? Can we pay a deposit and make payments until the trip is paid in full? Thanks!

    Hi Angela,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm thrilled that you're considering a Disney Cruise vacation, I can honestly tell you that I think it is the ULTIMATE vacation for our family!

Due to the all-inclusive nature of cruising, a per-person deposit will be required at the time of booking.  This is typically around $200 per person for the 3, 4 and 5 night voyages and $250 for the 7-night voyages.  Deposit amounts are increased for specialty voyages or concierge suites.

Once your deposit is made, you can make payments at your leisure at either www.disneycruise.com, by calling 407-566-700 or by mailing a check to the address listed on your confirmation.  Your cruise must be paid in full 75 days prior to departure (90 days prior for category 1-3).  Keep in mind that you will not be permitted to book any excursions, time at Flounders Reef Nursery, Palo reservations or spa treatments until your cruise is paid in full.

Good luck with your decision - I hope you come back with more questions!
