Hi Jeremy,
Welcome to the Moms Panel, I'm so glad to hear that you are considering a Disney Cruise vacation! I'll be completely honest when I say the food, the service, the style, the entertainment....is worth every penny!
We enjoy the convenience of cruising, especially when traveling with extended family. Having the ship be your "home" for a few days makes it easy to participate in activities that appeal to the individuals - and still easily and get together for group activities, dining and entertainment.
The pricing can vary greatly depending on the duration of your voyage and time of year you plan on traveling, and since this is an all-inclusive type vacation the longer you go the more expensive it will be. Personally I recommend starting with a four to five night voyage to "test the waters" for your family. To see what is included in the cost of your cruise, click
HERE. A few things that should also need to be included in your budget is gratuities - currently the suggested guidelines are:
- 3-Night voyage $36 per guest
- 4-Night voyage $48 per guest
- 5-Night voyage $60 per guest
- 7-Night voyage $84 per guest
You will also want to budget for transfer service to/from Orlando International Airport, currently round-trip service is about $70 per person.
I hope this gets you started - please come back with all your planning questions!
