I am considering a cruise from San Diego -- Vancouver, then on the SAME SHIP continuing on for an Alaskan cruise. Should I expect to have to disembark the first cruise, go through the check-in process again, then re-board? Could I just stay on the ship?

Hello, Christopher and welcome back to the planDisney panel! It's great to have you cruise our way again.

Looks like you are considering booking back-to-back Disney Cruises. I like the way that you think! It's a great way to see more places and get more time on the amazing ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, not to mention an extra boost to your Castaway Club member status. When guests book back-to-back cruises, it is necessary to disembark the first cruise. However, the Disney Cruise Line makes this a streamlined process for their passengers. The night before the end of your first cruise, you can expect to receive information about the process. You'll be among the first guests to return to the ship and will be relaxing again in no time.

The Disney Wonder is the current ship exploring Alaska. I absolutely love dining in Tiana's Place onboard. The food is great and the live band adds to the perfect party atmosphere. I highly recommend the sea bass for the main entree and the beignets for dessert!

Have a lovely voyage (or two!) and please sail our way again if you have any further questions. We'll be ready to point your compass in the direction of adventure.

Have a day full of magic,

    Adrianna
