Hi. I have been considering cooking Thanksgiving Dinner while we are visiting the park in November. We are a group of 10 so I would need an oven and a large dining room table so we can all sit. What would be the best resort/Villa for this type dinner.

    Hi Maria!

You know, you could just buy a bunch of extra turkey legs in the Parks the day before, and save them for Thanksgiving Day...just a thought! ;)

If you want to cook, you will want to stay at one of the villas in a Disney Vacation Club Resort.  You will need to book either a one- or two-bedroom villa, or one of the Grand Villas (which sleep 12) in order to have access to a full kitchen.

The resorts that offer this include:  Wilderness Lodge Villas, Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Old Key West Resort, Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary Resort Hotel, and Kidani Village at The Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort.  You may also consider the Tree House Villas, near the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

Again, all of these resorts have kitchens that come fully equipped.  However, as you know, roasting a turkey may require a few items that are not included, such as a large enough pan, a thermometer, baster, etc...  You can always purchase these items, such as disposable pans, at a grocery store close by or bring them from home.

I hope this is helpful.  If you think of any more specific questions, please feel free to send me a question directly!
