Hi, Dana! Welcome to planDisney.
A
Christmas trip to Walt Disney World sounds absolutely brilliant, especially with a little one in tow. Just wait until you see the parks all dressed up for the holidays. Your 2-year-old is going to be wide-eyed with wonder. Did you know that some of the rides, such as
Mad Tea Party and
Jungle Jingle Cruise, have Christmas makeovers? It's loads of fun and adds a touch of Christmas joy to the day.
When it comes to the
Disney Dining Plan, you’ll be happy to know that children under 3 don’t need their own plan. At table-service restaurants, your toddler can share from an adult’s plate at no extra cost. If you’d prefer to order something specific just for them, you can do so and simply pay out of pocket. Quick-service spots work the same way. Your little one can enjoy bites from your meal, or you can grab an additional kid’s meal if you’d like.
Even though your 2-year-old doesn’t need a dining plan, it can be handy to pack a few of their favorite snacks from home for those in-between moments, especially whilst waiting for parades or exploring the parks during the busy holiday season.
You’re in for such a special trip, Dana. Between the twinkling lights, the festive music, and those first magical hugs from beloved characters, your family will be making core memories to treasure for years to come.
Happy planning!
Mike
