I am considering changing my reservation to club level now that it will be available for our next trip. We're staying at the Beach Club. It is a significant increase to upgrade, what perks are available to justify the cost? Thank you!!

    Hello Sara!

Welcome back to planDisney! You’ve made an outstanding choice, Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of the most popular Disney Resort Collection Hotels. You’ll find bright and airy rooms reminiscent of a summer visit to Cape Cod or Martha’s Vineyard. The feature pool Stormalong Bay is a Guest favorite complete with a sandy bottom, a lazy river, and a pirate-themed waterslide! And if convenience is what you are looking for, you’ll be just steps away from Epcot, or you can walk, boat, or take the Disney Skyliner to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Staying Club Level at Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers a whole additional level of comfort and service to Guests. Once you are booked, you may use Disney’s Signature Services for one-on-one vacation planning assistance in making Advance Dining Reservations and booking Enchanting Extras such as dessert parties, private VIP tours, or even fireworks cruises!

During your stay, Club Level Rooms are on the 5th floor of the resort, along with the Stone Harbor Club Lounge. For most Guests, access to the Club Lounge is the biggest perk. If you will be taking advantage of the lounge’s food and refreshment offerings, this is probably where you will find the greatest value. Typically you’ll find coffee and tea service in the early morning along with Continental Breakfast. If your family enjoys breakfast in the lounge rather than purchasing a separate meal, this can be an efficient, and valuable way to start your day. From late morning to early afternoon you’ll find light snacks, followed by hors d'oeuvres and select beverages such as wine and beer through the dinner hours, and finally desserts and cordials at the end of the day.

If you are the type of family that will be in the parks from rope drop to close, and you don’t spend much time at the resort, Club Level may be less appealing to you. On the other hand, if you’ll have time to enjoy the lounge, will be enjoying a pool day, or will return to the resort from time to time, then Club Level may make your stay even more enjoyable. I hope this helps to answer your question as you make your choice, Sara.

Wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
