I am considering changing my reservation from the Beach Club to the Dolphin to save money with my military veterans discount they offer. Can you help me understand the cons of changing resorts?

    Hi Dana,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance planning your vacation.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my very favorite resort hotels on property. The close proximity to Epcot is definitely a plus, but the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is relatively close as well. I consider them both within walking distance, although the Beach Club is definitely closer. The biggest highlight of the Beach Club is the swimming pool. Stormalong Bay is, by far, the best swimming pool on Walt Disney World Resort property. I would base my decision of whether to move resorts or not depending on how much time you plan on spending at the pool, and how significant of a savings you would receive at the Dolphin Hotel.

Personally, I would stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort, simply because I absolutely love it! Regardless of what you choose, have a wonderful vacation.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
