We are considering bringing our own golf cart to the campsites at Fort Wilderness. We would be bringing it on a small trailer. Do they have a place to park the trailers or do you have to keep it at your site?

    Howdy, Jenelle!

You must be so excited about your upcoming stay at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. It's such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay at Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many activities to enjoy at Fort Wilderness that I can see why you would want to have a golf cart at your disposal during your vacation.

I just got off the telephone with two Cast Members at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and they both confirmed that you are permitted to bring your own golf cart. There is a designated area to park your small trailer near the Reservation Outpost. Just ask one of the friendly Cast Members at the Reception Outpost to direct you to the portion of the parking lot where they'd like you to leave your trailer. Alternatively, you may park your trailer at your campsite as long as it is completely off the road and not occupying any space on an adjacent campsite.

Of course, if you choose to leave your golf cart at home, you can rent one at the Reception Outpost. Rentals can be made by Guests 18 and older with a valid driver's license. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (407) 824-2742.

If you happen to see Chip 'N Dale during your upcoming vacation, please say 'hi' and have some s'mores for me.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
