Welcome to planDisney, Claire!
It's great to see a fellow Guest from Merseyside! A week's holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds brilliant. You'll be able to take advantage of the
7-Day Magic Ticket (exclusive to UK-based Guests), which comes with a number of "proper boss" features, like the
Park Hopper Option and
Memory Maker.
As a side note, did you know that a 14-Day Magic Ticket is the exact same price? Obviously, you'll have to spend more on accommodation and food. However, it's such a tempting deal!
Claire, there isn't an official date for when vacation packages will be released for 2024. However, when we "take a gander" at previous years, Disney tends to release their vacation packages for the following year in the late Spring/early summer. Around that time, it's likely that you'll be able to book a vacation package that includes tickets and accommodation. Therefore, around June of this year, I would keep checking the
Walt Disney World website and
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. Once those vacation packages are released, you can then book your "jollies." I'd recommend booking as soon as you can. That way you are more likely to find accommodation at your preferred hotel.
By the time you arrive, you'll be able to experience
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. This interactive exploration of water will be "practically perfect" for your kids. And since everyone can enjoy it together, "you'll never walk alone" on the trail (sorry, I couldn't resist). I had the pleasure of interviewing a Disney Imagineer last year about this attraction and it made me really excited to experience it myself. I think it'll be beautiful, educational, and tons of fun! Make sure you check it out.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Claire. I'm sure you'll have an "absolute belter" of a trip. See ya real soon!
