Characters and family at Stormalong Bay

    Considering booking at the Beach Club Resort next year, and we would want to book a cabana by the pool. How many are available to rent? I keep seeing four, which makes for slim chances to grab one 60 days in advance. Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney! Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite resorts ever. I love the classy beach town ambiance and the pool is just amazing. My family had such a great time even without a cabana as there were so many comfortable chairs with shaded locations. I even had no problem getting a frozen drink from Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar and Grill, as waiters were walking around Stormalong Bay.

    Now, it is true that there are only four Cabanas that can be rented that are shared as a rental option between guests staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort. You will have to book them 60 days in advance but only those staying at these two Resorts can grab them! One benefit, which I confirmed with a Cast Member, is that you can book 60 days from your Resort check-in day plus up to 10 days into your stray. A good strategy is to look for any booking availability nearer to the end of your stay at this Resort. The Cabanas are also offered as half-day as well as full-day rentals so there could be an opening as some people may just book half-days. Since guests can cancel this reservation up to 24 hours in advance with no penalty there is a chance that you could find a spot last minute. No harm in asking! Also, did you know that Annual Passholders and DVC Members can get a discount on their Cabana booking? Right now, the only way to book beforehand is by calling (407) WDW-PLAY so make sure to keep trying if this is something you wanted.
