Hi, Sharmon!
Let me start by saying that I am an
Annual Passholder and I love it! I have saved so much money on hotel stays, shopping, and dining that I find an Annual Pass to be very worthwhile. Oh, yes, and of course 365 days of magical visits to the 4 amazing Walt Disney World theme parks!
So let's do some math! Let's say you were to visit twice in one year, and purchased a 4 day hopper each visit. Currently, a 4 day hopper
ticket is $425, so with 2 visits in a year that would be $850. An
Annual Pass is currently $779, so the Annual Pass would definitely be the better deal. Now, if you only plan to travel to Walt Disney World one time in a 12 month period, a 10 day park hopper ticket is $515, so just the Annual Pass would not be worth it. Basically, I find if you are planning to visit the House of Mouse at least 2 times in a 12 month period, the Annual Pass is the way to go. (All prices do not include tax, prices subject to change.)
As I mentioned, the
benefits of an Annual Pass also add to your savings. When booking a resort stay, always log into your account to see if there are any Passholder rates available. When shopping, always show your pass for any discounts. Many restaurants also will give a discount, so the savings just keep adding up! I keep my Annual Pass on a lanyard and just show it all the time to see if they will give a discount.
I have had an Annual Pass for many years, so if you have any other questions about being a Passholder, let me know! I am happy to help!
Cathy
