Another ?: considering BC, YC, and Poly for next year. If we decide on the Poly, we would like to request a room with a great view of the monorail. DD2 loves trains. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Hi, John!   My son is a huge fan of trains and the monorail, and we had the perfect room at the Polynesian!   We stayed in Rarotonga.   This was a standard view room.   We requested the monorail side of the building.    My son loved sitting out on our patio watching the monorail zoom by, it was awesome!    I was worried we would hear the monorail after the kids went to bed, but it was very quiet.

This is also my favorite building because it is just steps away from the Great Ceremonial House where the monorail station is along with the lobby, front desk, restaurants, and shops.    From here, you are close to the Volcano Pool as well.

We also liked the Polynesian since we were also able to walk over to the Transportation and Ticket Center and could hop on the Epcot monorail.   It really is a great resort, one of our favorites!

Good luck deciding.  (Yacht and Beach Clubs do have Stormalong Bay, a big selling point!)   Any of your choices are fabulous!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
