    Hi -we are considering attending MNSSHP on 30th August this year and wondered whether the Dessert Party is available to book on MNSSHP nights?

    Hi Julie! Thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my very favorite events that happens at Walt Disney World each year. Over the past few years, there has been the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Dessert Party offered for an additional charge. This themed party is currently listed as an extra on this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party page of the website, so I am confident that it will be offered again this year. At the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Dessert Party, you'll be treated to Halloween inspired sweets and specialty drinks as well as great views of the fireworks. In the past, Guests have had the option of booking two viewing locations: Plaza Garden Viewing and Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant Viewing.  I've experienced both options and both have their advantages. At the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant you'll be able to sit down while you wait for the fireworks to start. However, you may be required to move around a bit for a good view once the show actually starts because the terrace is covered.  At the Plaza Garden viewing location, you'll be required to stand while you wait and during the show but it's directly in front of Cinderella Castle with nothing over your head. Like I said, both are great and you can't really go wrong either way.  

    The Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Dessert Party is a great addition to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I have no doubt that if you choose to do this, you will have a 'spook'-tacular time!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
