Considering AOA, for our next "more budget friendly trip", but the decor looks so "busy" in the photos. Atmosphere is important to us for relaxing and I do have a daughter with autism. Is the decor too much? We do stay in the room a lot

    Hi Tami!

The new Art of Animation Resort is absolutely amazing. However, there is a lot going on with regards to the decor on both the outside of the resort and inside the rooms. It is also relatively expensive, especially when compared to the other Disney Value Resort. I suggest considering staying at Pop Century instead. Pop Century is my favorite Disney Value Resort.

I also suggest visiting the independent website MouseSavers.com. At Mouse Savers you will find a lot of money saving strategies and tips. It is where I go to first when planning my own Disney vacation.

Good luck with your decision and please write back with more questions!
