I am considering going to the Animal Kingdom After Hours Event this September. Is there resort transportation available or will we need to find our own way back to our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel?

    Hi Kimberley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I absolutely love the Disney After Hours events. Unlimited treats and reduced waits at some of my favourite attractions? What’s not to love??!! I haven’t had the chance to experience Disney After Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park yet, but it’s definitely on my “must do” list. One of my favourite “after dark” experiences is witnessing the bioluminescent beauty of Pandora: The World of Avatar, so I’d love to have extra hours to explore its various nooks and crannies.

From what I understand, when special “after hours” events take place, Disney Bus Transportation continues to run during the event. If you’re staying in a Disney Resort Hotel, that means that you should be able to hop on a bus to get back “home” once you’re ready to leave. Of course, this information is subject to change at any time, so I highly recommend speaking to your Disney Resort Hotel’s Lobby Concierge on the day of your event to make sure that this information holds true that day.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Day! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
