I consider myself a Disney World expert when it comes to adults. However I don't have clue when it comes to kids. What what you think is a good age to go for a first visit? We go every year so this will not be the only trip. He is 3 right now. Thank you

    Hi Catherine!!!

I started taking my son to Walt Disney World at six months old.  He has been about 10 times since and he just turned four, so I have a lot of experience with taking him at different ages.

I honestly think the first time he started enjoying it was when he was about three years old.  He was tall enough to ride Test Track and Soarin' and really was able to take in and enjoy the characters.  Don't get me wrong, we had a blast with him when he was six months old, one year old, and two years old, but when he was able to start asking for certain attractions and enjoying them is when it became very enjoyable for my family!!  Since then, every trip gets even better!!!

I hope this helps!!  Let me know if you have any other specific questions about enjoying Walt Disney World with a three year old!!

    Have a magical day!!
