Would you consider California Grille "boring" for our 4 and 6 year old girls. Have booked this for the last night of our trip (we will be in MK that day), but considering changing it. Wanted Ohana but cannot get dinner. Is lunch at Ohana just

    Jeanine:

Both 'Ohana and California Grill offer different experiences. If you want the girls to experience 'Ohana, you may want to get reservations for the Character Breakfast with Stitch since dinner is unavailable and lunch isn't served. However, the view alone from California Grill is worth taking your girls and will be a memorable ending to your trip! Although a window table can't be guaranteed, I would definitely request one when you check in at the host desk.

When I ate there last summer, I didn't have a window table, but was still amazed at the view, however our BEST view came AFTER dinner: One of the benefits of being a patron to California Grill is the access to their outside observation deck. From it, you can see Cinderella Castle and much of the skyline of Walt Disney World, unobstructed by other diners or glass. Even if dinner is over before the fireworks begin, you probably have an even better view from the viewing deck! If your dinner is much earlier in the evening, you can still come back to the deck for the fireworks if you leave the restaurant, as along as you check back in at the host desk.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
