    Hello. Does the consensus of advice that EMH days should be avoided (due to larger crowds) apply only to non-resort residents? Surely the benefit of staying in a WDW resort is to take advantage of those times? Staying at WL late July. Thank you

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    In general, I'd recommend avoiding the Extra Magic Hour park if you cannot take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. So if you are staying off property, or you sleep in/go to sleep early, it's best to go to a different park. Typically, the park with the Extra Magic Hours is more crowded.

    If you have a park hopper, another option is to visit a different park during the regular hours, and visit the Extra Magic Hour park during the extended hours.
