How many consecutive nights can you RV camp at Fort Wilderness Campground? Also if you have to leave how long before you can return...Thanks

Hi Heather! We are frequent Fort Wilderness "glampers" and in the fall we often stay for several months.

You are allowed to make a reservation at the Fort Wilderness Campsites for 30 consecutive days. You can then make another reservation to begin on the day of the check-out for the first reservation and do that for another 30 days. You can actually do this for as long as you wish.

At the end of the first reservation you would not need to move your RV but you will need to go to the Front Outpost and check-in for the new reservation. That means new magic bands and new parking papers etc. When you arrive please let them know you will have continuing reservations and for how long so they can plan for the site you will be on to be occupied by you.

Campers tend to stay a bit longer then a normal resort guest so this is very unique to Fort Wilderness when guests have consecutive 30 day reservations. They make it as easy as possible for you. They can only allow 30 days at a time because longer would indicate that you are a full time Florida resident and the campgrounds are not set up for those type of guests.

Hope this helps and maybe we will connect during a stay in the great Fort!
