Hi there, Marisol!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. I am happy you sent your question to us! Booking connecting staterooms is a great idea when traveling with a large family or when you just want more room on the
Disney Cruise Line. I like connecting staterooms because you can open the connecting door to share space and close it when distractions need to be reduced, such as when you are putting kids to bed who would prefer to spend more time in
Disney's Oceaneer Club!
Connecting staterooms are available on all Disney Cruise Line ships, with the newest ships having the most options. Connecting staterooms can be booked on the Disney Cruise Line website. After selecting your itinerary and choosing your stateroom category, the website will take you to a deck plan for stateroom selection. Connecting staterooms can be found in the deck plans by looking for a broken line on a wall shared between two staterooms. This denotes an interior door connecting two staterooms. Finish selecting that stateroom, and then book the other stateroom by choosing "Add Another Stateroom". Make sure both staterooms are available before reserving the first one, and activate the “Connecting Staterooms” button after the second stateroom is added. Up to four staterooms can be booked at one time, although only 2 staterooms will typically be connected to each other.
Have you heard about
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point yet? This tropical destination recently became available for select Disney Cruise Line sailings. Located in The Bahamas, it features beautiful beaches, cultural events, and experiences for the whole family. My kids are most excited about the interactive water play area featuring 2 slides. I cannot wait to check it out!
Marisol, thank you again for contacting planDisney. Please reach out to us again if you have additional questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
