Hey there, Lori! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your question. Chatting about the DVC Resorts with a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member is my favorite!
Since you are wondering about the Big Pine Key building at
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I must assume that you are interested in the new Resort Studios, and who could blame you?! These new rooms are absolutely STUNNING, and as a Mary Poppins fan, the beautifully themed touches around the room make these gorgeous accommodations even more appealing. In fact, when I saw the delicate, elegant glass birds on the chandelier, I teared up a bit. It's just
that beautiful! I could go on and on (and on) about how much I love the new Resort Studios, but let's get to your question. I'm more than happy to help!
In the photos and video room tours that I've seen, I noticed a connecting door in the new Resort Studios at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and I just confirmed with DVC Member Services that some of the Resort Studios
do offer connecting doors for the option of adjoining rooms. If you book two rooms, simply add the request for connecting rooms to your reservation by
contacting Member Services. Just keep in mind that the request cannot be guaranteed and will be accommodated based on availability.
While you're enjoying your fabulous stay at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, be sure to stop by
Enchanted Rose lounge at least once! The atmosphere, cocktails and food here are fantastic and not to be missed. I
must recommend the Lavender Fog. This cocktail tastes as beautiful as it looks!
I hope this was helpful, Lori, and I hope your magical vacation is practically perfect in every way! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
