Hello Timothy! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
Disney Cruise Line staterooms are definitely designed with families in mind. The thoughtful design includes raised beds for convenient luggage storage, a curtain to create separate sleeping areas, and a split bath layout that makes getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Every ship in the Disney fleet offers a
variety of staterooms across different categories that connect. These staterooms feature interior doors that can be opened, allowing families to enjoy the space of both rooms. When you're in the process of choosing your stateroom online, be sure to look for rooms with small open doors, signifying they connect.
It's important to note that for Guests under 18 years old, there must be an adult aged 21 or older on the reservation. Some families book each parent in a stateroom with a child. Rest assured, there are no bed checks. You can choose the sleeping arrangement that suits your family best once you’re on the ship.
If your children are older, Timothy, you also have the option to book two staterooms that are not connecting but are adjacent to each other. When my brother joined us on a Disney Cruise, my husband and I chose a stateroom with a verandah while my brother and son stayed in an inside stateroom across the hall. This arrangement allowed us to have our individual spaces while remaining close enough to tuck my son in at night. Plus, we saved a little bit of money booking this combination.
I hope this information helps! Your Disney Cruise promises not only comfortable accommodations but also a
host of captivating activities and experiences for Guests of all ages. Please see us again if you have any additional questions.
