Ahoy there, Valerie. Thanks for taking the time to sail by
planDisney with your question for us.
Just a few more sleeps and you’ll be sailing on a Disney cruise! I’m so excited for you and your travel companions. And it’s going to be amazing having adjacent verandahs as you sail on the high seas. The verandahs are usually separated by a partition. However, you may request your stateroom host to open the divider between your two staterooms so you can enjoy a larger balcony!
On my recent cruise with extended family, we had 3 adjacent
staterooms with verandahs. We asked our wonderful stateroom host to open the partitions between our staterooms. During our weeklong cruise, all of us enjoyed being on the balcony, relaxing and watching the sunset together as we got ready for dinner.
By not having the partition between your staterooms, Guests in the other stateroom can also unlock the sliding door handle to enter your room. This was helpful for us during our cruise since we’re all one big family traveling together. However, if you want or need more privacy, be sure to utilize the upper lock on the sliding door to prevent someone from entering your stateroom from the verandah.
I wish you a magical sailing as you embark on your
Disney cruise in a few days. Please wave hello to Captain Mickey for me!
Bon voyage,
Kiki
