Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to
planDisney you go, Lindsey!
Your
Halloween Time visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth will be here in just a few weeks, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! I’d be happy to help you get connected with a Cast Member to discuss your needs for your upcoming visit. The Disneyland Resort offers
Disability Access Service, or (DAS), which is designed to assist Guests who have a difficult time waiting in a conventional queue
due to a disability. So, instead of waiting in a lengthy standby queue, Guests receive a return time for a specific experience comparable to the current wait time, allowing the Guests to experience other attractions or take a break while waiting.
If it sounds like DAS may be helpful for you, you can go ahead and pre-register for it ahead of your visit with the help of
DAS Advance. This service can be accessed as early as 30 days before your visit, but no less than two days before, so it looks like you’re within your window to register. During
the live video registration chat, you’ll have the chance to book up to 2 one-hour return windows
for select experiences, subject to availability. This is in addition to the regular DAS benefit of making return-time selections upon your arrival and throughout your Disney days.
If for any reason you aren’t able to register for DAS before your visit, you can still register at the Disneyland Resort upon arrival at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or at any Guest Information location.
Last but not least, I recommend downloading the
Disneyland app, since you’ll be using it to schedule your DAS return times once you’re inside the theme parks. I also enjoy using the Disneyland app to mobile order food and drinks ahead of time, which is another great way to avoid long waits.
I hope this information helps you enjoy a comfortable visit to the Disneyland Resort, Lindsey! Don’t hesitate to return with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
See ya’ real soon,
Kristin
