How to connect my older magic bands to my upcoming trip

Hi there, Keith, and welcome to planDisney! Your arrival to Walt Disney World Resort is imminent, and you must be thrilled! I love that you've saved older MagicBands from previous vacations - I do the same thing!

If you've used this MagicBand before, it will already be linked to your My Disney Experience Account. If you purchased this MagicBand but never activated it, try the helpful Linking Tool. I want to let you know that the older MagicBand batteries are only meant to last for a couple of years, and there isn't a way to tell if it's still working until you arrive and test it at the tapstiles or your Resort Hotel Front Desk at Walt Disney World Resort. Happily, you can use the My Disney Experience App to activate Disney MagicMobile Service - essentially a virtual ticket that lives in the wallet of your smartphone - this will help you scan into the Disney Theme Parks easily in case your MagicBand doesn't work anymore. If you find that you need a new MagicBand+, you'll be happy to know that they are rechargeable and you can find them at merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope this is helpful, and I hope you have a wonderful vacation! Please stop back by anytime!

    See you real soon!
