This is a great question--and you'll love the answer because it is so easy to link your
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets to your
My Disney Experience Account--and doing that gives your MagicBand access to those tickets. Super simple!
First, think of your MagicBand or
MagicBand+ as the link to all of your WDW plans--all just a tap away. Once you've purchased your
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets, you can link those tickets to your Disney account. Check out this answer to a Frequently Asked Question about
linking tickets to your Disney account, then simply scroll down to Link a Ticket to your Disney Account. That will direct you to your My Disney Experience account where you can follow the next steps.
To see that your tickets are successfully added, once in your MDE Account, look for the My Disney Experience tab to the top right, then scroll down and select My Plans and Tickets. Scroll down a bit to My Plans, Reservations and Tickets, and you'll see two tabs; select the one to the right--Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker. Your tickets should be there.
To see if your old MagicBand is still linked to your MDE account, hover over that My Disney Experience tab again, but this time select My MagicBands and Cards. There, you can see all of the MagicBands you've added over the years--and all of them can access all of your plans--tickets included--in your MDE account. So easy!
Of course, you can check all of this information, too, on the
My Disney Experience App. When you're touring the Most Magical Place on Earth, you'll be able to tap your way around the parks and resorts--such a plus! If you pick up a new, simply must-have MagicBand+ to add to your collection while visiting, linking that to your MDE through the app is a snap as well. The only trouble may be deciding which one to buy--there are so many fun options! Gotta' match the outfit or celebrate the season, right?
