How do I “Connect My Managed Guests” to another adult on my family and friends list so that they can manage my daughter’s ticket when they go to Magic Kingdom?

Hi there, Matthew! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending in your question. The good news is that this is totally doable!

Before anything else, make sure both adults have their own My Disney Experience accounts with separate email logins, and that you're connected to each other in your Family & Friends list. On the Walt Disney World website, head to the My Disney Experience menu and open your Family & Friends List. If the other adult appears in your list of connections, you're already on the right track. If they're not listed, use the option to add a Guest and search for them using their name plus an email address or phone number so you can connect your accounts.

Next, take a quick look at how that other adult is showing up. If they're listed as someone you “manage,” that means they're not fully connected as an independent planner yet. In that case, you'll want to transfer control so they can sign in under their own account. You can do this from the same Family & Friends area by selecting the option to manage that Guest and sending them an invitation using their email address. Once they accept, they'll appear as their own account connection instead of a profile you manage.

Once you and the other adult are properly connected, the final step is sharing access to your managed Guests. Go back to your Family & Friends List, find the other adult's name, and look for the settings option that lets you adjust what they can plan. From there, you'll be able to choose which managed profiles you want to share. Now, simply select your daughter's name, send the invite, and have the other adult accept it when it arrives. After that confirmation goes through, both of you will be able to make plans, manage tickets, and help keep everything running smoothly for your Magic Kingdom day.

Matthew, once this is set up, it makes life so much easier, especially when one adult is heading into the park with the kids while the other is doing something else. I hope you have the most magical trip, and that your daughter's day at Magic Kingdom is absolutely perfect. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!

    Warm hugs,
