To start the process of connecting with family and friends for your upcoming trip, at least one member of your planning party needs to have a
My Disney Experience account. The next right thing to do is add all members of your family to your
Family and Friends List in My Disney Experience. You can find this list under "My Family and Friends" in the "My Disney Experience" drop-down menu of the Walt Disney World Resort website. You can also find your Family and Friends List in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App by clicking the three small, horizontal lines at the bottom right of the home screen, scrolling down to "My Profile" and clicking the "Family & Friends List" tab. Once you've found your list, click "Add a Guest" to view options for adding your cast of characters. If a family member already has a My Disney Experience account, you should select the "I'll enter their name and age" option and enter their name, age and birthdate as prompted. Once you've input an age of 13+, an additional option appears that allows you to "Invite this Guest to connect." Select this option and enter the family member's email associated with their My Disney Experience account. This will send the individual a personal invitation that, once received and accepted, will complete the connection process. Adults without a My Disney Experience account or children under the age of 13 may also be added, their information will just be managed by the individual adding their information.
Once connected, everyone can make and share activities and reservations. Streamlined planning saves precious time when making
dining,
Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane purchases. It also allows all members of your family to enjoy each other's
Disney PhotoPass photos. With everyone on the same planning page, your Disney story comes alive!
