Hiya, Susan, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning the ultimate
land & sea adventure. I couldn’t think of a better way to begin a Disney Cruise Line vacation than with a stay at the Happiest Place on Earth, so I’d love to help send you on your way.
To arrange your cruise, resort stay, and transportation, you can
call a Disney Cruise Line representative directly who will walk you through the process. Alternatively, you can reach out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner who can also help you coordinate your hotel stay, cruise reservation, and ground transportation, all in one seamless itinerary! Whether you're flying into LAX, John Wayne Airport, or San Diego International, they’ll be able to help you map out the most convenient route to suit your travel needs.
Once you’re booked,
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is available for an additional fee and can be arranged to take you from Disneyland Resort to the San Diego cruise terminal, as well as from the port back to the airport after your sailing. Just be sure to coordinate flight times and cruise details when making those reservations, especially since San Diego is about a 90-minute drive from Disneyland. Booking early (especially for March 2026) is a great idea, and your Vacation Planner or Disney Cruise Line representative can advise you about reservation timelines and activity booking windows.
Another easy way to connect with a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member is through the
Live Chat option on their website. If you have a quick question about anything from theme nights to Port Adventures, they’re happy to help out. And if you haven’t signed up for
email updates yet, that’s another good way to keep up with the latest DCL news.
As you can see, a 2-night visit to Disneyland Resort followed by a magical cruise out of San Diego is a practically perfect pairing, especially during the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. If any more questions pop up along the way, Susan, don’t hesitate to sail back to us here at
planDisney.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
