Dear Joan, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you with information about
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Disneyland Resort!
Joan, when you are within 2-30 days of your arrival, you can
request a video chat to get the process started for the DAS program. DAS is to support Guests who have difficulty waiting in queues for long periods of time. The Guest requesting DAS must be present on the video chat. If deemed eligible, the Cast Member will help you get registered, and you can even pre-select two attractions per day of your visit prior to your arrival with the recently introduced
DAS Advance feature.
If you are less than 48 hours away from arrival, no problem - you can still request DAS upon arrival at the parks. If starting at Disneyland Park, head over to City Hall. If starting at Disney California Adventure Park, make your way to the Chamber of Commerce. The Guest Relations team can help you with DAS registration.
If possible, download the
Disneyland mobile app so you can make your DAS selections from the app while in the parks. If you’d prefer to make the selections in person, Hakuna Matata, that is possible too, at any Guest Services location.
Joan, another tip from a friend who recently utilized DAS - you could consider getting
Disney Genie+ service and using it along with DAS. Genie+ offers
Lightning Lanes for 19 attractions across the two theme parks, which offer shorter queues to reduce your wait times. You can make DAS selections concurrently with Genie+ selections. For instance, you could request “it’s a small world” through DAS and Space Mountain through Genie+. If you opt to add Genie+ service, you can do so through the app after you have entered the theme parks. This is just an option - you don't need Genie+ to get DAS.
I hope this information was helpful, Joan! Have a magical and wonderful vacation.
