how can i connect my April 30 DVC vacation to WDW so i can plan reservations

Hello, Thomas and from one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, let me say, "welcome home."

Thomas, I'm so glad you stopped by with this question as being able to plan for your trip and make those very important Advanced Dining Reservations will ensure happy (and well fed) Mouseketeers!

Since you've booked your April vacation through your Disney Vacation Club Membership, you should see a confirmation number when you log into your Member Dashboard. To see this after log-in, hover over "My DVC" and then click on "My Dashboard." From there, scroll down until you see "My Vacation Plans." Here you should see any trips that you have booked. Make sure you click on your April dates to expand the information. Then you will see a reservation number. This is the number that you'll want to link to your My Disney Experience account.

planDisney pro tip: Have a piece of paper handy to jot down your Disney Vacation Club Reservation number in case your session times out before you can open up your My Disney Experience account.

Once you have opened your My Disney Experience account and logged in, hover over the tab that says, "My Disney Experience" and click on "My Plans." From here you should see a screen that says, "Thomas' Plans and Tickets." You will see a blue icon that says "Resort Hotel." If you hover over this icon you will see the option to "Link a Reservation." Here is where you'll want to pull out that handy slip of paper with your Disney Vacation Club Reservation number and input that number. Then, voilà! Your reservation should be linked.

Thomas, I hope this helps as you're getting excited for your upcoming trip. If you need any restaurant recommendations, I hope you'll come back and see us here at planDisney where the only thing we love more than talking about the amazing dining options all around the Walt Disney World Resort is... eating! In the meantime, I'll encourage you to take a look at the Panel Extras section of the planDisney website where you'll find the article, "What Would I Order?" This offers some great dining suggestions from my fellow panelists.

Best wishes, Thomas, for a perfectly planned vacation and one that allows you to reach out and find your Happily Ever After.
