If I connect the MyDisneyExperience App for my kids to my account, will they have the ability to change or cancel reservations? i.e. can I allow my kids a "view only" permission to see our resort plans without changing them?

Hello Mark, and welcome to planDisney!

I can understand the concern, and it is valid because we all run the risk of having changes made accidentally. So far, that has not happened, but I am always on the lookout.

I do know that you can add your children to your Family & Friends List, but be sure to select, “I’ll manage all plans for this Guest,” and as long as they do not have their own My Disney Experience account, they will not be able to make any changes. If you provide them with their own My Disney Experience account, please note that there is no “view only” option available, but if you want them to see the plans, you can log into their device using your credentials. Just be sure to let them know that they are not to make changes. Something that I did when my son was younger was to provide a screenshot of the plans so that he could view them in that way. Of course, this was before he got his own My Disney Experience account.

Please return with any additional questions; we will be here if you need us.

    Have a magical time!
