How do I get conjoined rooms for my cruise of 14 people?

    Hello, Marissa!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. Sailing on the Disney Cruise Line with 13 of your closest friends and family sounds like a dream come true. I once cruised with more than 20 family members, and we had so much fun! It was a great opportunity to reconnect and spend time together.

Connecting staterooms are available on all Disney Cruise Line ships, although the newest ships seem to have more options. To book a connecting stateroom, choose an itinerary on the Disney Cruise Line website under "Plan a Cruise". Select your stateroom type and then review the deck plan to see the available staterooms. Connecting staterooms can be found in the deck plans by looking for a broken line on a wall shared between two staterooms. This shows that an interior door connects the two staterooms. Go through the process of selecting that stateroom and then you can start the process again to book the other stateroom. Make sure both staterooms are available before reserving the first one! Up to four staterooms can be reserved at one time. Keep in mind that only two staterooms are usually connected to each other.

Another option is to explore concierge staterooms. Some ships have 1-bedroom, 1-story, and 2-story options that can accommodate part of your group. My family dreams about staying in the Concierge 2-Story Royal Suite with Verandah on the Disney Wish. This marvelous suite includes 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living area, a dining room, and more. I would never want to leave! Concierge Guests receive various perks in my experience, such as early Port Arrival Times (the time you can board the ship) and the ability to book Onboard Experiences and Port Adventures before most other Guests. They can also visit the Concierge Lounge to access complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages, plus cocktails during select hours. The Concierge Lounge on the Disney Wish also features a sun deck, 2 whirlpools, and a wading pool reserved just for Concierge Guests. Talk about the ideal vacation!

Marissa, I hope you find the perfect staterooms for your family vacation. Do not hesitate to contact planDisney again if you have additional questions!

    Happy sailing!
