Mike from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am coning to Disney in a couple of days with a 6-day Hopper Plus pass, and I have a few questions. 1. With the hopper plus pass, do we need to register for specific parks on specific days or can we just show up?

Hey, howdy, hey, Mike! I can see you're beaming with excitement as your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few days away! Let's jump into all your questions so you'll be ready to make the most magical memories!

Mike, with your date-based theme park tickets, you are not required to make theme park reservations! This gives you the freedom and flexibility to decide where you'd like to visit each day and tap directly into the magic! With your Park Hopper Option, you're also able to visit multiple theme parks on the same day, so feel free to hop around as much as you'd like!

Because you're staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel, you're also able to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry every single day; this is a unique opportunity for Disney Resort hotel guests to access select attractions and experiences 30 minutes before the scheduled park opening time. To access the early morning fun is a little different at each theme park, so let's dig a little deeper into those details!

    • At Magic Kingdom Park, all guests are permitted to tap into the turnstiles about 30-45 minutes before early entry begins and can access Main Street, U.S.A. As a Disney Resort hotel guest, you may continue on to experience select attractions in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland during early entry. To access these areas, a Cast Member will ask you to tap your MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile Pass, or Key to the World Card to verify your resort reservation.
    • At EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, there are typically separate lines for guests who are arriving to experience Early Theme Park Entry to tap into the parks. At each of these parks, you will be asked to tap again to verify your resort reservation before being allowed into select areas of the parks. You will see signs and Cast Members will also be on hand to direct guests where to go!
And if you're like me, Mike, you're going to want to be there from rope drop at early entry through the fireworks finale every day! While times are subject to change, a quick look at the Park Hours and Events Calendar for this week shows the following:

I hope this helps you to plan for your practically perfect vacation, Mike! If you have any other questions before your trip or while you're soaking up the magic, come see us again at planDisney! We're always here to help!

    See you real soon,
