M theresa from TX Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is so confusing to me. I have been blessed with triplets (they are 6) a huge surprise. I have been saving to take them. We were going to take them 19-22 December. Any advice on where to stay on property? And are there veteran discounts? Thanks!

    Hi M Theresa!

December is a wonderful time to visit as the halls and walls and even food kiosk stalls are decorated for the season. Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be daunting, but the Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help!

The majority of guest rooms at Disney's Resort Hotels have a maximum occupancy of four guests, but some locations can hold a few more. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside has rooms that comfortably sleep five thanks to a child-sized pull-down bed. Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort can both sleep six in their Family Suites, which have two full bathrooms. And the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort can also sleep six, with the bonus here being a full-sized kitchen.

Disney does offer special rates for U.S. Military members. However, these are currently for those who are Active Duty, Reservists, Retirees of 20 years (or more!) of service, and those who retired due to a 100 percent disability. Complete eligibility info can be found on the Shades of Green website.

Do check out Disney's Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. Some offers are discounts on just resort hotel rooms, and some are full everything packages. Don't hesitate to call Disney's Resort Hotel Reservation Line to inquire about the cost of these offers based on your family's size. Their phone number is (407) 939-1936. And definitely search previous Disney Parks Moms Panel answers for more budgeting tips!

I hope this helped, M Theresa, and We'll See You Real Soon!
