    Confused it if trails end is TS y does it say accepts QS plan? Would u recommend whisp can cafe or Trails before chip n dale campfire? WCC sounds fun for kids 5,2 but afraid of too much travel after day at MK.

    Hi Jessica! Since we stay in Fort Wilderness many times I love answering questions about this great Disney resort.

    Trails End is a nice little dining secret on property. It offers a delicious buffet for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast includes those great Mickey waffles and much more such as biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit and cereals. Dinner has salad choices, great barbecue ribs and brisket, my favorite fried chicken, vegetables, and much more. The soft serve ice cream and toppings is a draw for both the children and adults. Other fresh desserts are also on the buffet.

    There is also a small area to the left of the main dining room which offers a limited quick service menu all day. The one thing my family enjoys most is getting pizza from the quick service spot when we don't want to wait or sit down at a table for dinner.

    Trails End is located two minutes from the marina where you will find boat transportation from the Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary Resorts. To reach the Chip and Dale Campfire Singalong you can hop on an internal bus at that location or simply take a short walk. There are side walks and it is lots of fun to walk by the many decorated campsites.

    Whispering Canyon is located in the Wilderness Lodge and is a wild and crazy dining experience. The kids will march through the dining room with props at times and the servers are full of lots of fun and tricks. It would mean a boat ride to the resort and then another boat ride to Fort Wilderness. You can head directly to the Fort from the Magic Kingdom via boat.

    Either choice is a good one so just ask yourself if you would prefer a buffet meal that evening or a sit down service. We love Trails End but also don't have anything bad to say about Whispering Canyon!
