I am confused...we are staying at POR Nov 10-17 2018.....we booked reservations in August of 2017....we were told parking was free. Is parking not free at the resort/parks now? can you explain?

    Welcome Home, Amber!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your excellent question about parking fees at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Amber, effective for all reservations made on or after March 21, 2018, standard overnight self-parking is available to registered Disney Resort hotel Guests for an additional fee. This fee is applied to their hotel folio upon Disney Resort hotel check-out.

Because you made your Disney Resort hotel reservation prior to March 21, 2018, you will not be required to pay for standard overnight self-parking at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort.

However, as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you are still eligible for complimentary standard parking at all the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! There have been no changes made to this awesome benefit available to Disney Resort hotel Guests.

Amber, if you have any other questions, you are always welcome to return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    All EARS,
