Confused about regular photo pass. Do I have to pay ahead of time or just set up an account? What if I don't want any of the pictures?

    Hello Mary!

Disney's PhotoPass Service is fabulous.  If it weren't for the PhotoPass photographers, I'd never be in any of our family vacation photos!  You do have the option to pre-purchase the PhotoPass CD (click the link to be taken to the pre-arrival offer page).  It will save you some money and lock in your rate for the CD.  If you returned from vacation and did not like your photos, simply contact PhotoPass customer service to discuss the possibility of a refund.  You can also wait until you return from vacation to view your photos and then purchase the CD with the images at that time.  You would just lose the savings from the pre-arrival offer, which is around $50.

The actual PhotoPass card does not cost anything.  You can get your PhotoPass card from any PhotoPass photographer in the parks.  Then simply scan that card every time you have a PhotoPass photo taken.  We take advantage of as many PhotoPass opportunities as possible and have always loved the photos.

I hope this helps clear up any confusions, Mary.  Please feel free to follow up with me if you have any additional questions.
