Greetings, Colleen! I'm so happy that you've brought us a question here at planDisney where we love helping our fellow Guests plan for their visits to Disneyland Resort and other Disney Destinations!
Like you, I am brimming with excitement to see the new nighttime spectaculars debut for the
Disney100 Celebration - Where Wonder Comes to Life! Starting January 27,
Wondrous Journeys will take Guests on a visual tour of the 100-year legacy of Walt Disney Animation Studios films that have become treasured stories for so many of us. There will be an all-new original soundtrack, state-of-the-art projections, and on select nights, a firework display worthy of the platinum celebration!
Colleen, you may have noticed that the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Canadian site seems to have some incomplete information on showtimes, at least at the moment. I suspect it will be updated soon, but in the meanwhile, I was able to track down some information on the anticipated Wondrous Journey showtimes. Typically, entertainment schedules are released for the next 4 - 6 weeks, so currently, the showtimes are listed through March 3. It looks like Wondrous Journeys with Projections will show at 9:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday nights, while Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks will show at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Please note that these showtimes are always subject to change or cancellation, so I do suggest you check back regularly on the Disneyland website or the official
Disneyland mobile app as your visit approaches.
One of my panel pals
Greg recently shared some more
helpful hints for our Canadian friends in one of his responses about nighttime spectaculars. You might find it useful as you are planning your upcoming visit. If we can ever offer any more tips or advice, I'd love to see you visit
planDisney again and you can always
send me a question directly.
I wish you a vacation full of wonder, discovery, and imagination,
Tishra
