Hey there, hi there, Joseph! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with
such a great question. I'm so excited to chat Disney with a fellow out-of-state Passholder!
I couldn't be happier to see that the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort is calling, and you answered the call by becoming an Annual Passholder and planning your next magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Of course, with so many changes just around the riverbend, sometimes, planning can feel as confusing as it is magical. But that's what we at planDisney are here for, and I'm thrilled to help you out today, Joseph!
While
Theme Park Reservations will no longer be required for Guests with date-based theme park tickets visiting on or after January 9, 2024, as a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you will still need to make Theme Park Reservations to enter the theme parks for your visit in February 2024. There
will be some "Good-to-go days" for Annual Passholders beginning in January, where no reservations will be needed, however, the reservation calendar will be updated to reflect these days as they are rolled out. Also, Annual Passholders
can visit the theme parks without a reservation after 2:00 p.m., except for Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays or Sundays. But to lock down full days of magic in the park of your choice, I recommend making your Theme Park Reservations as soon as you can. Let's make sure you can unlock all your Passholder magic!
One of the changes occurring on January 9, 2024, that I think you will also be excited about, Joseph, is that Annual Passholders (and Guests with Park Hopper tickets) will be able to hop to another theme park anytime throughout the day! No more waiting until 2:00 p.m. Woohoo! Just make sure that you tap into the theme park where you have your reservation before you try to tap into the next park. Happy hopping, my friend!
I hope this helps clear things up, Joseph, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable year, full of fun and Passholder perks! Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
