I am confused about the max pass, does every ticket need it for everyday (we are a family of four with five day passes), or is it more financially beneficial to add it on certain days and plan to use fast pass on those days?

    Hi again, Clint!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for stopping by with another question about Disney MaxPass. Your trip to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it!

If your theme park tickets have already been purchased without the Disney MaxPass option added, you can purchase it upon arrival one day at a time. You don’t have to add Disney MaxPass for the full length of your tickets if you’d rather only purchase it on certain days. However, I think you’ll appreciate the convenience it adds to your days as you explore the theme parks, especially for very popular attractions.

Keep in mind that even if you don’t purchase Disney MaxPass, you can still utilize the traditional Disney FASTPASS system. To get a FASTPASS, visit the distribution area for an attraction offering this service. Insert your valid admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine to obtain a return time. For attractions, the return time will be a one-hour window, but for shows, you will receive a time for a specific performance. Not all attractions offer FASTPASS service, but a list of those that do is available online and in the park guide maps at the resort.

I hope this help you plan, Clint. Please visit us again with any other questions you may have before you set off on your adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Wishing you magic,
