I am confused about the FastPasses I understand the concept, but I guess I am worried about scheduling times. How much time between attractions? I am trying to keep them all relatively close, but it's hard if you consider meals, travel time, etc.

    Hi Lisa ~

I had the same concerns about making my FastPass+ (FP+) selections. However, I have found the system to be pretty easy to work with when making my selections.

If you have linked your tickets to your My Disney Experience Account, you are able to select up to 3 attractions in one park prior to your trip. Once you have made your 3 choices, it will ask you to prioritize them. You are then given 4 options of times from which to choose. The FP+ system will also tell you if any of the times overlap any dining reservations that you have made and linked to your account (pretty nifty). If available, you are typically presented with morning, afternoon, or evening options.

For example, I have the following FP+ selections for my next trip:

    Peter Pan's Flight 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    Tomorrowland Speedyway 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

    Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin 1:40 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.

With these FP+ return times, you could plan on arriving towards the end of your Peter Pan's Flight FP+ window which would give you less of a wait time before heading towards the Tomorrowland Speedway. Or you could arrive at the beginning of your Peter Pan's Flight FP+ window which would give you time to grab a bite at a quick service location for lunch before heading to the Tomorrowland Speedway.

The FP+ system also does a pretty good job of keeping your FP+ selections in a orderly manner and not making you continually criss-cross a park to get from one to another.

If you see any problems in your FP+ selections once you arrive at the parks, you can try to modify them through your My Disney Experience Account or stop by a FP+ Kiosk. There are a lot of Cast Members on hand to assist Guests. Just make sure you stop by before your FP+ return window begins.
