Sometimes the technology side of things can feel a bit confusing, but Hakuna Matata, my friend. With me here to guide you, you don't need to worry. There are several options for you to enter the parks.
You could purchase a
MagicBand+ to wear like a watch and tap it at the entrance of each theme park for entry. You could use a ticket card or Key to the World card and use it to tap into the gates. Grab one from the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or Guest Relations.
Now I know the tech may seem a little daunting, but I'm going to tell you step by step how to set up your
Disney MagicMobile Pass. Once you're all set up, you'll only need to tap your phone to enter the parks.
1. Download the
My Disney Experience app and sign in to your Disney account.
2. Open the app and tap the three-lined icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Choose Disney MagicMobile Pass.
4. Tap Set Up Your Pass.
5. Choose the people from your travel party that you want to add.
6. Pick a pass design that you like from several fun options. I'm currently enjoying a DOLE Whip-themed pass.
7. Choose to add your pass to the digital wallet of your mobile device.
8. Follow the prompts on your phone to finish saving your passes.
Once you're all set up, you'll just need to open your phone and hold it near the Mickey head tapstyle at the parks. You'll then touch your finger to the fingerprint scanner, see that Mickey symbol turn green, and off you go on your magic-filled day of adventure.
Pro-tip: Take the time to set up your pass at home before you even travel, so it's nothing but smooth sailing upon arrival.
