I am confused by the DisneyDiningPlan brochure's description for HoopDeeDoo DDP credit usage. "Dining plan can be used for Cat. 2 and 3 at all shows and Cat. 1 at 8:30." Does that mean it won't except DDP credits for cat. 1 at some shows? Thanks

    Hi, Diana!

This is a bit confusing, but you have it right.  Let me detail it for you.  If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will need to use 2 table service credits when dining at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.  You may redeem your 2 credits for a seat at:

-4:00 pm show in categories 2 or 3
-6:15 pm show in categories 2 or 3
    -8:30 pm show in categories 1, 2, or 3

If you really want category 1 seating for the earlier shows, you can always pay out of pocket and save your dining credits for other meals.

I hope this clarifies it for you.  The Hoop Dee Doo is a very upbeat, fun evening, and you will leave with a belly full of yummy BBQ and will be humming fun tunes for the rest of the night! Have a Hoop Dee Doo good time!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
