I am confused about Cathy's answer to Thomas about using 2 base ticket passes on one day. We're going to WDW in April 2009 and have 7 day base tickets but will really only be there 6 full days. Why can't we use 2 tickets in 1 day?

The "why" of it is that Disney won't allow it. The computer-controlled park entrance turnstiles are set up so that base tickets will only provide entrance to one park per day. If you try to enter two parks in one day using a base ticket, the turnstile will reject it and you will not be admitted to the park. If you want to enter more than one park per day, you're going to need to use a Park Hopper ticket.

I understand that this can be frustrating, but that's simply the way Disney has decided to structure it's ticket offerings.
