Conflicting info. Put luggage out night before debarkation & don't see until land. Last time we had to pick up to go through customs & then porter took to the Disney bus. Which is correct?

    Ahoy Mary Julie –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Sorry for the confusion regarding the luggage – I hope that I can clear things up for you. Actually, both of the statements mentioned above are correct. Guests who are taking advantage of Onboard Airline Check-In will have their boarding passes printed out for them and their airline luggage tags given the day before debarkation. Those guests will attach luggage tags and place their bags outside of their stateroom the night before and their things will be checked into the appropriate airline by Disney Cruise Line. Guests will not see their bags again until they get home and go to baggage claim. I answered a similar question about Onboard Airline Check In last week if you would like more details. Guests not participating in Onboard Airline Check-in will put tags for US Customs on their bags and place them outside of the stateroom on the night prior to debarkation. After leaving the ship, they will pick up their bags in US Customs and then proceed out of the Disney Cruise Terminal to their transportation. I hope this helps, but if you need more clarification, please come back to see us here, Mary Julie.
