Just confirming my reservation to magic kingdom on 4/21! How much is parking?

Hey, Sherri. I'm so glad you've stopped by planDisney with your questions.

Magic Kingdom Park is so much fun, you are going to have a great day. But first, let's make sure you do, indeed, have a park pass reservation for April 21st. To check, you are going to need to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account. Then scroll down to the section titled, "My Plans, Reservations & Tickets". If you do have a park pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on April 21st, it will be listed there. If you don't see it there, that means you do not have a park pass reservation made. To make a park pass reservation, you'll head over to the park pass reservation website. Once there you'll select, "Make A Park Pass Reservation." This will bring you to a screen where you'll be able to select your party, pick a date and a park and then if there is availability you'll be redirected to a confirmation page.

When you get to Magic Kingdom Park, standard theme park parking is $25.00 per day or you can upgrade to the preferred parking area for $45.00 per day. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel or are an Annual Passholder, parking will be complimentary for your visit. Parking lots open about 45 minutes prior to the theme park opening each morning. When you visit Magic Kingdom Park, you'll actually be parking at the Transportation & Ticket Center or TTC for short. Once you've parked there, you'll walk up to a transportation hub area. To get over to Magic Kingdom Park you'll need to take a short ride over on the monorail or use the boat transportation. Both are great options and will take about the same amount of time.

If you are planning on spending the whole day at Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend getting there as early as possible. I always like to be waiting at the parking attendant booths 1 hour prior to the park opening. Getting there early really just sets you up for such a great day. When you get over to Magic Kingdom Park, you'll be able to enter and head straight to your first attraction of the day. You'll be amazed at how many must-do things you'll be able to check off of your list by lunchtime.

Sherri, I hope you have such a great day visiting Magic Kingdom Park. If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
